A narrative old as time,

An instinct as human as any,

Blown up past its prime,

Even when it fails is believed by the many.

Women are oppressed by men,

The men do this for their own gain,

Just walk outside and you'll hear it again,

From the nursery it's been drilled into your brain.

But to find who rules find questions you cannot ask,

Think on the questions that bring anger,

Those enraged will be the establishment unmasked,

The truth shall be told in protestors clangor.

There's a little film that's asking some questions,

There's a little director getting some hate,

Besides listening she makes no suggestions,

But the powerful think they've already decided her fate.
