If you cannot conceive of a path that ends in you walking into a place where people gather in pursuit of the good and out of bitterness spite and vengeance murder the people there, then you do not know yourself and you are dangerous in the same way someone who does not know how to fix an engine but does so anyway is dangerous. You have inside you something that comes from hell, and it's a part of you. That hellish bit of you wants to pull everything down to where it came from and you listen to it more than you think. We are all of us capable of bringing hell to Earth. There is also in you a spark of the Divine, something that sees the highest good that you can conceive of and reaches toward it despite the futility of the Act and the fact that life is suffering. In Soviet Russia there were people so cruel that I had never imagined the things that they did until I read about them, but there are also people so unwilling to participate and the evil the camp that their bravery and sacrifice boggled my mind. I want to be like those prisoners of the camps who took the beatings rather than become informers on their fellow prisoners.

Idiot: We should have an ethnostate.
You: How shall this ethnostate be achieved?
Idiot: By physically removing all non-X ethnicities.
You: Against the wills of the individuals in question?
Idiot: Yes.
You: Does this not violate their rights to property and liberty?
Idiot: Rights are granted by the state and thus can be revoked by the state.
You: Why is this so?
Idiot: The state has the power to make it so.
You: So then, might makes right?
Idiot: Yes.
You: Suppose ethnicity Y gained political power.
Idiot: A difficult thing even for the most imaginative.
You: Humor me.
Idiot: Alright.
You: Suppose that ethnicity Y decided to genocide ethnicity X, would this be right?
Idiot: Obviously not!
You win, tada!

Hey there all you lovely readers, you lazy beloved unclicking bunch you.  By now, you're aware that I am desperately trying to avoid getting a job by driving traffic to my new WordPress site.  If you weren't aware, consider yourself informed.  Yay you.  But, a disappointing number of you ave been taking the time to click the links leading to direct posts in status updates, or to the home page in the description of every daily post despite getting all post two days early.  I know, what a luxury.  Maybe you're nervous about indulging in the decadence of joining those fellow deviants consuming my poetry earlier than anybody on DA can, in which case don't be.  You deserve nice things.  The link loves you. Believe by refield  Just as Tiny Cactus believes in you, so do I.  I believe that you can join those readers of mine who get early access.  But, I also know that you're lazy.  But, you're in luck.  How much luck?  Well, that depends on if you have a Facebook account, and let's be honest, you do.  Now, this is good news for you because you might not be seeing the status updates, or possibly you just mass delete those annoying boxes without reading them.  I get it.  What you can do, is fallow this link to my Facebook page (le gasp!) and click like.  This will ensure that my posts show up on your normal social media news-feed, and by now you know that it's totally safe for your normie friends.  This will show you the link, and perhaps a few lines from the daily poem, and entice you to click, rather than sate your desire for poetry in one fell swoop.  Remember, like the page!

Is this war?

4 min read

Write the rules. (Or copy and paste them, whichever you prefer.)

    Write 13 things about yourself.

Answer 13 things asked by the person who tagged you, and make your own 13 questions.

Tag 13 deviants. Make sure they know they are tagged.

Don't say "You're tagged if you read this".

It is forbidden not to tag anyone. (Fite meh)

    Tag backs are allowed.

If you don't make this tag in a week, you need to obey a wish of the person who tagged you(or don't idgaf)

    1. I always do the memes apparently.
    2. I always break the rules apparently.
    3. NuclearBurrito wants to start a meme war with me apparently.
    4. I am bad at getting a job apparently.
    5. I need a job apparently.
    6. I'm enjoying the word apparently.
    7. People like to meme me apparently.
    8. I have controversial views apparently.
    9. I'm too honest apparently.
    10. I'm always hungry, apparently.
    11. I'm good at lighting bananas on fire, apparently.
    12. I'm also good at driving tractors, apparently.
    13. I'm sick of the apparently joke now.

    NuclearBurrito's questions:

    1.  What's the first thing you remember?

    Pain, fire, and blurred shapes.

    2.  If you could actually do and be anything, ignoring cost and time constraints, what would it be?

Conquer the planet just to enshrine in global law, "Mind your own damn business."

    3.  What's the farthest you've traveled?

From West Coast to East Coast when I was six.

.4  Ever heard of the Alcubierre drive?

    Nope.

    5.  What do you consider the difference between a nerd and a geek to be?

Nerd has skill, geek has interest.

    6.  Do you fall into either of these categories? If so, which one?

    Mostly geek, some nerd.

    7.  What do you think drives humanity as a whole?

The desire to keep on living and have successful progeny.

    8.  Why do you think that way? (I could have made that 1 question, but I'm running out of ideas.)

    Biology.

    9.  What's one thing you wish you knew in the past?

    Follow-through is important.

    10.  Favorite genre of story (book/movie/cartoon)?

Used to be fantasy, but I'm getting into noir mysteries.

    11.  Preferred operating system? This can be either a smartphone OS (Android, iOS, or Windows) or a PC OS (Windows, Apple OS, Linux, Android).

    Windows.

    12.  What's more important in making a first impression: how one presents themselves visually (looks) or how one carries themselves overall (personality)?

The visual is the first impression.  That's the hard truth if it.  The impression given by fashion choices, gait, physique, and countenance can only be sharpened or softened by time spent in company.

    13.  What is your favorite time of year and what makes it your favorite?

    Winter.  Rain and Christmas.

     Questions:

  1. Are you aware of the temptations to corruption around you?
  2. Do you consider the temptation to "not rock the boat" to be one of those?
  3. Would you like to share the vices that tempt you most sorely?
  4. What virtues do you admire most in others?
  5. What virtues do you try to strengthen in yourself?
  6. How well do you know yourself?
  7. What is justice?
  8. What do you most fear in your own heart?
  9. What do you most fear in the natural world?
  10. What do you most fear from your fellow man?
  11. How do you find courage in the face of those fears?
  12. Is freedom or security more important?
  13. Who's your favorite nonfiction author?
